Hello Dr Woeller, My patient did the OAT, Mycotox, GplTox, and glyphosate. She is a 71 year old with severe depression, Overall joint and body pain, severe stomach pain, hair loss, little bumps under her skin. She currently lives in a very damp old house with major condensation issues from windows in Toronto Canada. She’s been to see conventional doctors and urgent care and all tests are” normal”. They can find no reason for her issues.

Positive Mycotoxin levels are the following:
    Ochratoxin A 21.55 (4-20)
    Mycophenolic Acid 48.45 (5-50)
    *ZEA 32.39 (0.5-10)
    Citrinin 40.85 (10-50)

Out of normal range OAT markers:
    6) Tartaric 69 (<45)
    8) 48
    15) 18
    16) 18
    17) 0.38
    21) 121
    22) 67
    25) 1.7 (<94)
    26) 2.2
    30) 1.1
    42) 4.8
    47) 4.3
    48) 3.1
    56) 0.01
    57) 0.45
    59) 2.0

GPLTOX: all in green (a few a little over the green but not much)
    Glyphosate 1.8

I have her on charcoal and for the first time her stomach in 3 months her stomach pain has subsided. It appears she has invasive candida. Do you think her bacterial makes indicate c.diff? She has high Oxalite with high malic. Her mycotoxin levels are very high as indicated above.
I would appreciate your suggestions on best way to proceed with treatment.

    Thank you,
    Paula

    Paula,
Are you listing 15) and 16) at 4-hydroxyphenylacetic and HPHPA, respectively? If so, only 4-hydroxyphenylacetic is high at 18 from what I can tell. Is 22) Lactic at 67?

    Hi Dr Woeller,

    15) 4-hydroxyphenylacetic, at 18 (high) and
    16) HPHPA,is at 18 (low).
    22) is Lactic and is at 67.

    Thank you,

    Paula,
High lactic can be from exercise or physical activity, but its commonly high because of mycotoxins. Based on what you are describing they mycotoxins (and her environment) are making her sick the hydroxyphenylacetic acid isn’t helping. Yeast too. The 4HPA comes from clostridia, including C. diff. The high oxalate could occur commonly from food sources, but mold production too. I don’t know how sensitive of an individual she is, but for an all-around approach I would personally do the following:

-Calcium w/Magnesium Tablets – two tablets with each meal (to help bind intestinal oxalate), in conjunction with low oxalate diet.
-CoreBiotic – two capsules nightly (to help with clostridia)
-VSL# – one capsule nightly (to help with oxalate)
-GI Detox+ – one to two capsules (as tolerated) twice daily away from other supplements to bind mycotoxins.
-Biocidin LSF – 3 to 4 pumps in water three times daily (to help with mold, clostridia and candida). You may want to dose slower just in case of die-off.

Is she suffering from sinus or respiratory problems?

All of these supplements come from New Beginnings, but the GI Detox+ and Biocidin can also be obtained directly from BioBotanical Research.

    Hi Dr Woeller,

Thank you so much for your suggested protocol. She does not work out so chances are the high lactic acid is from the mycotoxins. She is congested and weak with daily bad sinus headaches.

Today she is having watery diarrhea (a few times today) thats black in color but it could be from 1 capsule of 250mg of activated charcoal that she has been taking each morning upon waking. She is also taking Zantac which is helping with her stomach pain.

She said the diarrhea started started when she got back from Jamaica on December 24 but was not black until she started the charcoal. She did feel great in Jamaica while there for 10 days and did exercise in ocean but no swimming.

    Thanks again,
    Paula

    Paula,
The black/grey stools is from the charcoal. This is very common. Also, the fact that she felt better away from her home is a good indication that mold is a big concern.

I would suggest doing a GI Screen (#401-H) from BioHealth Laboratory – https://biohealthlab.com to check for parasites and H. pylori.
