    If someone has high oxalates on OAT and they take calcium citrate for oxalates, have you noticed serum calcium elevate?

    Terri,
    Not if they take the calcium citrate with meals. The citrated form dissociates in the intestines and binds to food oxalates or gut mold produced oxalates. It is then excreted in the stool with bowel movements.
