    if the OAT is + for clostridia would you treat even if no sx?
    can you connect clostridia with restless leg syndrome?
    can you connect clostridia with familial tremor?
    how would you support familial tremor? what pathway / which gene do you need to focus on

    Thanks. For some reason I am not getting notified of all postings. Most I received, but some don’t hit my email. We will check the system and see what’s going on.

    1 – Yes, I would. Any positive on the clostridia markers in my opinion needs to be treated.
    2 – I don’t know of a specific, concrete connection, but there is a relationship with these clostridia toxins and the brain and nervous system. It has been linked to autism, anxiety, Parkinson’s, psychosis and others. It seems reasonable there could be a connection to Restless Leg Syndrone.
    3 – No connection that I know of. My suggestion is treat it if you find it.
    4 – I don’t know enough of familial tremor. I has not been a condition I have ever treated or been confronted with in practice.
